How can we trust our intuition when it is often guided by the past?
This is the question I'm exploring in this episode of Success in Mind.
We often hear "trust your intuition" but how do we know when it's intuition or fear that's guiding us? And in my experience and with my clients, it's often a fine line.

In this special 300th episode of Success in Mind, I reflect on the incredible journey from its origins as The Empowered Life through its evolution to the Teri Holland Show and its current incarnation.

Intending to make this episode special, I initially thought of recapping favourite moments and guest tips, but instead, I chose to share a mix of personal health updates, professional reflections, and a future outlook.

I open up about my ongoing struggle with ulcerative colitis and my plans to launch a new podcast focused on health. Beyond health, I delve into my podcasting business and public speaking coaching, and the current direction of my business.

A lighter moment in the episode is my recount of the 'Great Canadian Debate' over poutine etiquette during a recent road trip, which offered a humorous yet profound reflection on Canadian culture. Despite the myriad topics, at the heart of this episode is a deep appreciation for the journey thus far, the lessons learned, the connections made, and the exhilarating path ahead.

In this episode, we sat down with Nick Barrett, the founder of CordBrick, a company that provides a simple yet innovative solution for managing phone cords.
Nick shares his journey from struggling with alcoholism and legal troubles to finding his purpose through entrepreneurship. He explains how the idea for Cordbrick - a weighted brick that keeps phone cords from falling off surfaces - came from his personal annoyance with his phone cord always dropping to the floor.
Throughout the conversation, Nick discusses the importance of starting with your entrepreneurial idea, the value of sharing that idea, and the challenges he faced in turning his concept into a viable product.
Nick also delves into his sober journey, describing it as a turning point that led to a broader personal transformation and commitment to help others.
Listen through to the end for Nick's latest CordBrick product and the exciting future of CordBrick.
